My little Baby......

We just got last week a baby ball python that hatched about 2 weeks ago.....The pet shop owner said he ate once but I was worried becuase I know how touchy new snakes (especially babies) can be about eating and stress. He ate right before we got him and he ate again tonght! YEA!!!!!

He is on the road to being healthy and stress free!

Sorry I am excited because babies that are purchased are usually under a lot of stress and can go months without eating and sometimes to the point of dieing. So it is in a sense like buying a powder blue tang and KNOWING that it is going to live and be healthy. Ok maybe not that drastic; but he is eating after only a week and showing no signs of stress!
YEA......gona grow up to be a big boy!

LOL...the pics makes him look BIG but curled up like that he fits in the palm of my hand! :-)

He is only about a foot long right now! funny thing is my wife (whom I though would never touch him) handles him more than anyone...kind of adopted him I guess.

I've had several pythons, but never a ball... great animals and better pets than most non-reptile lovers might think... you keeping him warm?

Gorgeous! I miss having reptiles. Turtles is as far as my husband lets me go now a days....
