Default what clean-up crew keep with a eel?

I havent got him yet but bought a zebra moray eel. I know that these guys eat crustaceans so curious on what to use to clean up the mess? I read something about snails being fine but even hermit crabs being on the menu of this guy is this true? If so what about something like a sea cucumber to help with clean-up? The plain old ugly ones arent near as toxic and I am not at all nervous about adding one as long as it wouldnt become dinner for anything. My tank is nearing the end of its mini-cycle with the nice brown diatom blanket covering the sand and the hair algae starting to root so I added phosban and need to get some critters in there to start helping keep things clean. Any ideas are sure appreciated.

Add the cleanup crew first...snails and hermits. They do the best job IMO.

Keep your moray well fed and you should not have too much of a problem...worst case scenario you might have to replace the hermits every 3-4 months.

Yeah, a well fed eel wont bother anything...but you will notice some hermits and snails missing from time to time, act of boredom..lol
