Thread: Could it be?

    Default Could it be?

I just got home from work and peeked at my tank before heading out to CB Pets. In the last few issues, every issue I have had with it has come under control, except aiptasia of course, and I am not worring about that until the new tank is going up. Larrys CBB's are going to get a huge feast, and I will be bringing home some Berghia.

Anyhow, as I said, everything is looking good, most importantly, no more heat issues. YAY.

Today, I looked at my RBTA that had split three ways, and two of the three anemones have gone from stark white with pink tips, to a soft mint green with pink tips. Does this mean what I think it means? Is the Zoanthelle algae returning?

    Crossing fingers!!!!!

I think he meant it was white before it split.

It was one of the group order Tim organized, did great until the heatspike in my tank, was a gorgeous pink w/ a greenish center base. Then it bleached to a complete and total white w/ pink tips. (the tips never lost color, I assume this is their nematocysts).

I just got home, and it definately has a 'mint green' tinge to the white tissue.

My BTA has a green center with white lines radiating from the center out.
It has orange tenacles with pink dots on the tips of the tencale.

When I got the RBTA he was white with a mint green glow, and now he looks like this. Hang in there they all will come back soon enough.

I am happy, it was bleached in december, split into 3 last month... if just one comes back I will be happy.
