Is that a $100 bill sitting on top, guess that represents how much you spent on eggcrate for that "Beast" ;)

Guess I can't say I own "Dan's Beast" anymore! I think you have out done yourself 8) Can't wait to see it up close & personal ... does it have guard rails

been working on this since jan. at this rate it will be june before it's finish. a friend told me never put water in a system until your finished with all the extra thing that have to be done. once you have water and every thing in the tank you'll never finish the other stuff that needed to be done.

That's great. You going to put a ladder up so it's easier to get in and out. Maybe a dive platform?

Also, that's a very interesting point about waiting to put water in. I felt that if I put water and rock in I can leave that be while I do the other stuff, but your description is more likely. Especially with my philosophy of "Projects are meant to be started"

Very nice Dan! Your plumbing looks almost too good. Where in your house is this tank going? I just assumed that it was going in your fish room to replace your 240g cube. Are you keeping both?

Absolutely Neat-O! I asked my wife if we'd get the Fever so bad we'd be building extensions on to the house to accommodat tanks...she said she hopes not!
