I bought a sponge about 10 minutes ago..it was an impulse buy, i just thought it was real neat..dont know how to acclimate it..i know they are filter feeders and should not be exposed to air..any suggestions??..THNKS

I would imagine pretty much like anything else you have, but I couldn't be totally positive about that. We have a bright yellow sponge growing in our tank, and I DO know that it doesn't care for bright light (keep it in lower section of tank) and it likes moderate water flow. Past that...heheh...I'm shruggingdont know how to acclimate it

hehe, thanks Wendy,..I checked www.liveaquaria.com , they have some good articles..it said to temperature acclimate it and to submerge the bag with the water into the tank so the sponge isnt exposed to air..hope it doesnt die..lol..
