I noticed this the other day and Im not sure what it is. I looks like a spider egg sack with shoe laces sticking out of it.

you can just take it out, believe me, it will spread

It'll grow on the back side of your LR. It likes the dark where there is less competition for space.

I'd take it as a good sign of biodiversity in your LR.
