I had a chance to tour the inside the day before they were opening their doors, and can safely report to you that it's a ****** addition to our Alamo fam. They've got nine screens, they'll be running the same soon-to-be award-winning preshow materials we've got going in ATX and HTX before first-run movies, and they're bringing down some of our specialty programming, too! This Sunday, Aug 29, the boys of Mr. Sinus will be making their first sojourn down, and the week after that, on Sept 5, San Antonio will get its very first dose of Movieoke. "

I'd have to agree, if you guys haven't been or heard of the draft house you need to check it out! You can eat dinner, drink some beer and see the kick *** new releases all at the same time. They put on open water at lake travis on a huge portable screen and sound system! You floated in a tube while watching it........

Yeah... definitely need to check this out! They are also opening other locations around the country... pretty spiffy if you ask me. ;-)

I beleive they went public, and a franchise can now be purchased......?

I should buy a franchise, just so I can set up a HUGE reef tank in the lobby and write it off as a business expence.

They really could have put this in a better place. That is quite a hike. Maybe they will open one on the north side or in downtown or something
