    Default New Fish

Just bought a naso tang yesterday. The fish looked good and was eating brine & nori at pet shop. After acclimation and intro into tank he did eat.Today he seems sluggish\shy and did not eat, color however looks fine.Should I be concerned or could he just be adjusting.

It may just be settling in. If it had been at the store for awhile it probably got used to its surroundings and feeding habits. You might soak some nori in garlic and the put it on a clip in the tank for it to graze one. The garlic should help get its attention and attract it to the food as well as help out if it starts to get ich from being stressed any.

Other than that, definately keep an eye on it. Mine was a little shy at first, but now I'm getting close to it eating out of my hand! lol, he's a pig!

Parameters are fine P.H a little high 8.6 (Marion tap water).Did a water change sat. morning before buying the fish.Today(monday)fish looks fine, however still not eating brine or mysis soaked in garlic & zoe or nori.Bought nori from HEB it breaks apart easily and does'nt last long!!.Just wondering if I should be concerned yet.

    THANKS
