corner tank stand/canopy idea

hey all,

im wanting some advice from some of the carpenters in the group. do yall think that a design like this would work well using ceiling crown molding as the ledge and the bottom of the canopy? i want about a 5-6 in. ledge so i can have room to put additives and whatnot on it when im messin with the tank and have a place to rest my arms while im scopin it out :P

let me know if anyone has any constructive criticism

hey tj! hows it goin buddy?

im hoping to have it finished by the time i come back to aTm! i have a theme in mind for this tank....black(stand,canopy,backing,sand,fish,etc.)

hopefully ill have this up and running before then so i can check it for problems and whatnot.

sheesh josh, thats exactly what im asking for here :P i have no idea how to start making this thing. oh well, i guess ill wing it and try to document it as much as i can, then i can make a post about it, maybe an article(do we still have those?)
