    Default Anemones splitting

    this is just out of curiosity and i know a few of you will be able to answer this,(Minh prob), but do other anemones split besides bubble tip anemones???or do all the rest just spawn, b/c i have never heard of a flower,giant,ritteri,sabae,etc splitting

    My LTA anemones split in a 3:1 ratio. I think most anemones split. At one time I had 3 of them and constantly had daughter anemones that I was trading at the LFS.

    I've never heard of them spawning, I always thought they split.

    i know the spawn in the wild, but never heard of anyone raising the medusa

    I have a red tulip anemone that has split a number of times...
    50gal cube in the works.

    2x250w Coralvue eballast and reeflux bulbs for sale.

    has ne1 ever had their anemones spawn, and acually raise the medusa???

    I doubt that the medusa would survive. They are like jellyfish and are planktonic, as I recall. They would probably end up in your skimmer.

    true, but then again there are some people who deticate their tanks to special creatures, but it would be ahdr since they are o small, and much like a jellyfish in the larvae stages
