    Default TOP OFF QUESTION

I need some ideas guys. I have an RODI unit which I am in the process of plumbing. My question is this: Does anyone directly feed evap water from the rodi unit with a float switch without using a reservoir? Will the constant on/off damage the auto shut off feature on my rodi unit? I dont have the room for a reserve tank so I am looking for alternatives. thanks

I used akent flaot valve for a while. Never had any issues. It should not effect the RO/DI.

I run it just like you are talking about. Done it for years with no problem. If you have the shut off valve on the unit just attach a line to a kent float valve and you are in business. I top off three tanks and a pond using this system. Of course more than one unit though.

THANKS TIM, ROBERT. This know leaves me the room I wanted to fit a filter bag driven sump and a 45gal refugium/propagation area.
