Default MARSH - April Meeting - Eric Borneman

MARSH (the Marine Aquarium and Reef Society of Houston) will be hosting their April monthly meeting at Aquarium Design Group in Houston. This month's speaker will be renowned author and marine biologist Eric Borneman. As a local member, he has been an invaluable resource to our club and this month he will be presenting his dicsussion of common aquarium myths and misconceptions entitled "Mything the Point." This is a great presentation that covers the topics that were a part of his series of articles in Reefkeeping magazine over the past few months. Following the presentation there will be short Q&A session.

This meeting will be held on Saturday April 10th at 11:00am and will go until approximately 1:00pm. There should be plenty of seating for everyone, and after the presentation paid MARSh members will be invited to view and purchase from the establishment's back room.

Aquarium Design Group is not a retail establishment, and therefore does not have a cash drawer. Purchases, therefore, should be by check or credit card, or by cash only if you have exact change.

As of now, I am still working on generating some raffle items for this event, and hopefully I will have something really nice to raffle at the meeting.

Thanks. I really don't frequent this site as often as I would like, and I did not see the thread. Sorry for doubling up on the notice, but I think that it is worth it.

They have a wide variety of regular and show sized corals and fish, and will be selling at below regular LFS cost. However, I believe that the offers will only be for paid MARSH members, and not guests. I think that we may be able to extend that to paid MAAST members also, as long as you have a copy of your membership card (or whatever identification that the club uses).

I don't know the exact prices, but I do know that they will definitely be worth your while if you are interested.
