What will you get next? That is really cool that you got your dream car. Congrats on that. I looked at one of those years ago, but it was in such bad shape, I could not go for it. The restoration project will be fun though as long as it is not too big of a job. I'll give you one thing, you will still turn heads in that car. The DMC's still attract attention wherever they go. I don't know if it is the story behind them, the looks or if people just expect them to shoot down the street and disappear into the future. You could get a custom plate like "FUTURE" or not.
Can't wait to see it.
I will bring it to the meeting. This one isnt in prefect shape, needs a lot of work, but i didnt want to buy a perfect one, because i want to work for something, I'll appreciate it more!

worked on them a few times when they first came out and saw a few painted. some red and some black. people said the stainless was to hard to keep clean to the show room apearance.

Who needs stainless. Two Ds were made with 14k gold not stanless. One of them is in Snyder texas totaly restored in a showroom. It is a sweeet looking ride.
You should check it out if you are ever that way. If you every go to Snyder I'm sorry for your pain. I HATE that place.
