Can Favites outsting a Aiptasia?

I'm wondering where to place my Favites. I hear they are aggresive. Can I put him just out of reach of my Aiptasia? That is, so he can reach the Aiptasia but the Aiptasia cannot reach him.

Ive read where some corals can indeed out sting aiptasia, ie: Elegance coral, to be safe though, Id eliminate the potential coral war and wipe out the aip.
