    I saw something rather interesting.......a christmas light timer that randomizes 6 plugs.......kinda cool, had 19 presets......i wonder how that would work as a "wavemaker"

    Sounds interesting, but need to see how many amps it can support. Pumps will draw more power than Christmas lights. To high a power draw and it could fail. If it works you could buy a bunch, repackage them for reefkeeping raise the price 400%, and sell on ebay!

    Hey I was just a wally world and went and looked at this timer. Each outlet is rated for 3amps and a total of 15amps for the system. There are six outlets. pretty cool. I thinking of getting one to try out and see how it works with powerheads.
