    Default JBJ Nano tank

Has anyone used this product before? I am looking for a nano for my new desk at work, something managable, and it seems like this is VERY easy. Even has PC lighting already installed. Opinions?

Is this the 12gallon nano with the one piece curved glass. If so RWilliams had one setup at his house that I got to see on the tank tours. It looked awesome. The were $125 at Austin Aquariums, correct me if I'm wrong Ed.

I have one, and I've found it to be a very good little tank. The lighting is really quite good for the size. I've got mushrooms, zooanthids, xenia, and a small torch coral going in it right now. Flow is a little light, so I've added a small powerhead. Because of the additional flow, I'm also getting a little more salt creep than I'd like over the edge. The filtration system is working fine. I loaded one of the chambers with LR rubble in place of bio balls. The best part is the one piece curved glass front and sides....very pleasant view. I'd give it a 7 or maybe a low 8 for a tank of that size.

Henry got his post in while I was writing mine! Yep...that's mine. I got it via internet from a LFS in Denver for $105 plus shipping (I think that was it). So, with shipping and no sales tax, I paid roughly $130...a little less than you'd pay locally I think....but you'd have to wait and keep your fingers crossed that it won't show up shattered (I had to have mine sent twice).

    Hey Ed,

Since I didn't make the tour, do you have one of these Nanos setup so I can see it in action? And BTW what are the store hours for the rest of the week?

    Jim,

Yes, there is a functioning Nano on the counter at AA. We will be open until 7 today, 10 - 7 Fri. & Sat., and 12 - 6 Sun.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm going to try to come by and take a look at it on Friday then. What better way to spend that holiday bonus, than a new Nano.

If you're there, I will introduce myself properly. Thanks for the help.
