Hey Steve, I was in monterrey for a week last year. I had lots of fun except on sundays, everyone goes home early to rest. Went to a lot of clubs and hung around the markets all day. Love watching the girls model clothes in the windows. they probably thought I was stalking them.LOL Good luck and have some fun. I thinking of going back for a weekend.

When I was in Korea for a year I was completely bored. Then started getting out and also got a part time job and the time flew by. Don't know if a part time job is a posibility there but Steves suggestion is a good one.
I know lots are saying bored in Korea, I'm just not a big club person.

Go to a pawn shop and get a cheap guitar, or better yet, if you don't want to worry about money for awhile. Go to guitar center, they have a special now, use there card and get no interest/no payments till 2005. So go pick up a cheap guitar and pay a few bucks each month for a year till it is paid for.
