    Default 110 watts over a 20 tall

would you consider this over kill?
this is because i just bought a 24 inch 110 watt power compact light for $30 and cant think of anything to put it over
what would i be able to keep under these lights?

not overkill as long as it doesn't boil your water. I'd say you could keep just about anything you want under that.

Definately not over kill. I had three 55 watt pcs over a 30. Just be prepared to add a fan or two. I think one of the other members has 96 watts over a ten gallon.

I had a 96W powerquad running over my 7G nano for quite some time.
    Another time I had a 175W MH running over a 10G.

    110W's isn't overkill at all... 8)
