Default 2nd time this has happened ....

My freakin' CPR Bak-Pak collection cup overflowed over the weekend while I was in Dallas and tripped the GFI. All the fish were dead and I lost a ton of sand critters. Really chaps my hide.

I really am debating selling everything off, but I will give it a day or two and see how I feel.

Thanks Josh  I have such a simple set-up. This crap shouldn't happen.

No. I think my carbon bag got caught in the return and backed the stupid thing up. If it wasn't for the GFI, I would have had 20 gallons of water on my kitchen floor. At least is was in the kitchen and not on the carpet.

    That sucks...

I have heard other people complain about the BakPak. I like the two that I like. My plan is to tap the collection cup for a drain to a larger collection container. I have a drain on the skimmer on my 58g tank and it is a life save. I evaporate lots of water off that tank and adding fresh causes the skimmer to work overtime. But it all drains into a milk jug.

The only complaint that I have with the CPR is what you ran into. If it overflows it hits the floor, not the tank.
