Sand Order
It appears as though people are having problems getting in sand, so I spoke with one of my suppliers today, bumped heads with Michael, and came up with the following offer for MAAST members:
CaribSea Aragamax 30# - $17.00 per bag
CaribSea Fiji Pink Reed Sand 15# - $13.00 per bag
CaribSea Fiji Pink Aragalive Sand 20# - $20.00 per bag
I will place the order next Monday (July 28, 2003). It takes them about a week to get the drygoods to me, unless backordered for some reason. . Prices do not include tax. Prepayment is required, so either come by the store, or call with a CC number. If you can, ask for me.

Aragamax Sugar-Sized Sand™
0.2-1.2mm diameter grain size (approx.) Also known as "Oolitic sand", this product is ideal for shallower beds, allowing denitrification in as little as 1" depth. The fine grain size can pass easily through the gills of gobies and other sand-sifting organisms. The smooth round grains are gentle to soft-bellied sharks and rays. Arag-Alive Fiji Pink™ .2-1 mm
