Sa Water Sucks

I just got my RO/DI unit in with a TDS meter and out of curiosity I checked what the TDS levels were in my tap water and boy was I amazed I had 290 PPM, no wonder I have all that green algae in my tank. I then measured the water out of the RO/DI unit and it was at 1 PPM guess it needs to run a little longer before it reaches 0.


When you guys are topping off with RO/DI water do you match the PH before introducing the water or just pour it in as is ?

When you *first* get your *new* RO/DI cartridges, let it run off into the sink for awhile b4 you put it into your reef tank.
