    hey minh,

i was following your thread on reef central about your ritteri anemones.
i was just curious to see if you've decided to force split them yet. it was pretty interesting to see others propagating their bta with a scapel or razor.
the first person to try this must have had to have a few drinks, i know i would have. its not like slicing up softies and watching them regenerate. if you decide to get rid of one of your clones or if your successful with the split let me know because i would love to get one from you.

also on a side note did you have luck on getting your orchid dottybacks to pair up. i also so a thread on that a while back as i was interested in getting a pair as well. i even contacted martin moe because i wanted a copy of his book.

I have not have the room to try to split my H. magnifica yet.
About the Orchid dottyback, it is really easy to pair them up. It is best if you get at least 1 small one. Immature Dottyback are female and the dominate Dottyback is the male. You will need a larger type aquarium because even after they spawned, the male can be rough on the female. My pair have beign spawned several times now. By observed the stomach of the female, you can determine when pair spawned. After that, the male is very reclusive for 1 week to 10 days or so. The last time when I was in Austin, there were quite a few Orchid dottyback for sale. I was looing for them for a long time befor I got my pair. They are very interesting and beautiful fish.
