Aqua & Purple Acro Frags for something low-light

I got an Aqua Acro frag and a Purple Acro frag over a month ago and found out my setup isn't adequate for their survival. I would like to trade for something that's low-light, maybe a red mushrooms. The thing is the Purple looks healthy but is brown and hasn't grown any. The Aqua is brownish and has a lot of green hair alga on it. I was hoping someone could take it and nurse it back to health.
I'm close to Bandera/Evers.

They look like they are dead my friend. If you have a black light or actinic lighting, you can tell if they are alive by the presence of florescence skin or polyps. The first one looks to be a skeleton that is covered in algae and gone. The 2nd one looks to be on its way out.

Really? Wouldn't they be white skeleton? The first one is more brown and pink at the tips now than in the photo, but they look like they still have 'flesh.' The second one is plumper than when I first got it and has some purple coloration in it... I'm willing to just give them away. I'd hate to see them die.

The smaller one is looking stressed. The larger one looks to have algae on it already and bleached. The photos could be misleading. Have you not seen PE at all?

Sorry. I don't know what PE is... I guess I'll just keep them and see how they do closer to the light. The thing is I don't have enough lighting on my tank. The first one had bleached after I put it in the tank but then gained some brown color when I moved it lower in the tank and that's also when the GHA attached to it while attempting to remove it from the rock under it. I thought I had cleaned it off but then it started growing on it...

Agreed, to keep SPS corals you will need to get some pretty strong lighting. The cheapest way to do this is to get yourself a PAR 38 that is rated for corals or get yourself a Chinese Black Box. Just know that as you get deeper and deeper in this hobby, you will quickly replace these lights for something more robust and a "cleaner" light output. I'm not going to jump on my soapbox because I have done this several times before but, you need to do some research before you purchase anything in this hobby. You will quickly start to waste your hard earned money buying things that look pretty in a tank but will die quickly or slowly in your tank if you do not have the right parameters for it to grow.
I'm not immune to it either, the other week I bought a Electric Red Scallop and Candy stripe Pistol shrimp for my Display Tank thinking they would do well in my tank. Well I didn't realize that the scallops would be preyed on by my wrasses and not last a week in my tank and the Pistol variety has been documented to prey on sleeping fish. Needless to say, I put the Pistol in a part of my sump away from fish and the scallop shell ended in my trash. Lesson learned, do plenty of research before buying anything.
