Just a friendly reminder that we have one heck of a storm coming inland and expected to stay a few days. I know in my area of San Antonio the power goes off every time we get a stiff breeze...we're likely to see 40 mph winds according to NOAA.

Make sure you prep for potential extended power outages - if you don't have a back up plan for your pumps in the case of a power outage it's a good time to figure one out!

Yeah this weekend has the potential to be rough. If you're able to get a bait bubbler and batteries it very well could save your tank!

Wind is getting really bad tonight on the east side. I am hoping nothing blows away, and praying my electricity doesn't get knocked out

Although I missed the speakers at macna, I am so glad I am not having to drive back today. I really feel for our members in Corpus, the coastline, Houston, and many others in flooded areas

Joke of a storm in my area. The media had so many 2-digit IQ having morons thinking it was the end of the world or the storm of the century. I'm on the edge of helotes and yeah we had some wind and some rain....but nothing more severe than any regular little storm. Morons on Craigslist trying to make a profit by selling all the generators they bought from Home Depot and the like.

It's good to be prepared for anything. But whenever this type of thing happens I always remember the phrase I heard my grandfather say...."Stupid people do stupid $h!7, and a fool and his money are soon separated".

All I needed was plenty of gas/diesel in case power outage, beer, bourbon, charcoal and wood, BBQ meat, and a comfy chair.

I made 10 gallons of RODI because it's better than bottled water! :P
