Today I had a 2 hour power outage that could have had negative consequences for all of my tanks. Fortunately I purchased a battery powered backup generator a couple of years and this is the first time I have had to use it. It powered all my tanks and was only discharged by 25%. I didn't know how long it would be able to hold a charge with so many pumps attached to it and was worried. Just wanted to let all of you know. It was money well spent. This is the one I have https://www.amazon.com/Duracell-DR600PWR-Powerpack-Pro-1300/dp/B009YR00MI/ref=dp_ob_title_auto

Now I have to roll up the extension cords. LOL

Thanks for sharing. I purchased a gas-powered generator for this same possibility...fortunately haven't had to use it yet.

Onan 6.5 kW generator sitting in the garage for backup...probably overkill, but I have several generators we also use for our drag racing operation.

Prefer to have plenty of backup for the tank and house stuff in general...go big or go home.

I agree with both of you. I also have a whole house gas powered generator in my storage building, just in case. The thing I like about this is I can get it hooked up in minutes which is easier and quicker than firing up big generator for short duration power outages.
