$49 a bucket, it's hard to beat

Are the mixed parameters in check with what they advertise?

We use 1/2 instant ocean and 1/2 reef crystals. Good mix of nutrients, without being too high in them or price. Works for us...

I've been using it for quite a while with no real issues. One thing I will note is that their salt DOES NOT mix up to the alk, calcium and mag it states. It is actually significantly lower than their claimed numbers.

I've seen a few members on nano-reef that use a similar mix with great results.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a bucket of kent from dr foster snd smith it was 20% off so couldnt beat it for 42$ after tax.

I have read to many bad reviews on rc or IO although i know there will always be good and bad experiences. Back in La i used RC salt from my LFS there thats what they used in their water.

I just dont see the point in paying the higher price for red sea if my tank is to the point of needing dosing help anyway?
