View Full Version : Anyone have experience with pex pipe?

I'm about to start the install of my RODI system. I am wanting to tap it to my Softener. Can I tap Pex like regular PVC? Or will I have to buy a "T" to install my softener. Thanks. I've never worked with it.

Thanks reefnub,

I ended up going with shark its fittings. I had to do a little research of the best approach possible.

They convinced me to do it that way at the plumbing supply store. I kept telling them that I was more comfortable sweating a copper "T" than using something that was new to me. Thanks for offering to help Reefnub.
