Hi

Im in the process of setting up RODI to 2 75G tanks. One for salt and other RODI water.

Previously I used to have the mechanical float switches.

This time around I am thinking about using float switches and solenoid valves.

I'm looking for opinions from experienced folks.

My plan:

Having 2 Float switches in each 75G tanks, One at the bottom and another at the top.

How I think I want it to work:

I want the solenoid valve to switch on when the water level is lower than the lower float switch and both the floats switches are ON.

Now when the water levels begin to rise, the lower float switch will switch off but I want the solenoid to keep working, until water has filled to the top and the top float switch is also off. So solenoid off only when both float switch is off.

Now water will be used and then levels starts dropping down, the top switch switches on, but solenoid is still off, it should switch on only when BOTH the valves are on.

I did not have a controller previously. Hence dont know if this could be done on an apex.

This time I plan on using the Vertex cerebra.

Please give me your valuable input.

Thank you
