embrace the algae. I've slowly adopted that some algae for a thriving beautiful color high growth tank is worth it. However on this I'm still really thinking about what to do. I'm thinking oh having someone custom make a HOB huge chamber to have a heater, power head chemi pure blue.

I was just thinking that in a pristine glass cube an intank overflow full of algae would take away from the focal point of a beautiful tabling acro colony or other coral. :) it is a cool little overflow but them making it clear is a little misleading to a newer hobbyist who may not realize that in a months time it will be a multi colored algae farm.
An hob chamber would be a great concept

Oh yeah, I'd rathe toss that money towards an apex for the bigger tank. I might try my luck with a HOB. I wish it had a false wall AIO style, would make life so much easier.

If it were mine I would want to try to keep the integrity of the pristine look of as little equipment obstruction as possible. I would consider drilling the bottom for a drain and return and hide the riser plumbing with rock and coral or macro algae.

Put a 5 or 10 gallon sump under it and you could easily have a nice nano sps display.

Thanks RRASCO, I'm talking to a buddy who does custom acrylic work, to make me a HOB contain in cast acrylic so I can hide heater, filter media, ATO, etc.

Any updates with pics? Are you keeping the nanobox or going for the XR15?

I have an AI light I'm going to use for the time being. This was going to be a fun little project but I ended up buying a masterflex pump today. So this is going to go on a back burner. Going to use it to grow some pods for the time being.
