I tried posting in the for sale area but apparently only charter members can post there?

I am shutting my tank down, had a hair algae outbreak because of power outage. The rock will need cleaned up but should serve someone well.

Theres also a handful of corals that the taker can take :)

yea its gone, Kind of a bummer that you have to be a charter member to post something for sale. Im shutting down my system but hate to pony up cash when I'm exiting the hobby.

Charter member sales was a privledge voted on by our charter members a few years ago. Sorry for the inconvenience.

what about the regular sales forum? I have a message on my screen that says its for charter members only. Is maybe something messed up on my account? When I goto the regular sales area there is no way to create a new thread. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

There is a charter forum as well as a sales forum. The charter forum isn't as active now, but in the past many will list a different price than ones publicly for web members. I've given away a ton of stuff in there and many have as well. Both these forums have it set to where only a charter member can make a thread.

The privilege of selling on the forum being exclusive to the charter/ premium members is pretty much standard for any of the marine hobby forums out there.
