Home depot. They also sell glass cutter. Takes some getting used to. You might break a few and get a cut or two on your hands. Safer thing to do is go to a local glass shop. They will charge you 10 or 20 bucks.

I think home depot off of bandera and 1604 only had 1/8" glass. Is that strong enough? Or should 1/4" be used.

check Lowes. they will also cut the glass for you any size you like. And if they break it no charge.

I get mine from Samuels Glass. Best prices when I called around and have used them 3 or 4 times.

Any thoughts on 1/4" vs 1/8"?

1/8" is thin. Since it's a 20g sump you shouldn't have any problems with 3/16" but if the cost isn't too much you may just opt for 1/4". Your call on that one.

It's worth noting that you will want to get the glass cut 1/8" shorter than the inside dimensions. If there is a small gap you can fill it with silicone.
