Anyone else not receiving email notifications on private messages and thread subscriptions?

I'm also having problems, the email barely started coming in a few days ago but they are all old notifications from a couple of months ago.

I stopped getting email notifications a few weeks ago. Didn't know if it was just me or the entire site. I'll get to looking at it.

I have done some digging and email notifications are working. I know some of you had old emails coming, which I can't explain since all the ones I just tested came through right away, but I did find that I have been receiving emails for the last few weeks they were just going into my Gmail spam folder.
It's important to note that we use a mailqueue system here, meaning the server won't send emails until there are 10 in the queue. This is to reduce the load on the server as email can be very intensive. This may explain why some of you received old emails, however, I wouldn't expect them to be from more than maybe a few hours to a day old.
I have taken a few steps to change the method in which the emails are sent which I hope helps minimize the amount of false positives for spam email. If you don't begin receiving notifications, I suggest you check your email providers spam folder first. If not, report back here and we can try and diagnose it further.

I can tell you were able to do something. My inbox is flooded with notification emails from up to months ago

I just started getting some too. I saw a bunch from the last few months in my spam folder, but I just got a notification for a PM you sent me like 6 weeks ago.
I think it has to do with the fact I changed the email method it uses. Should be good news.

I think it's clearing the backlog and new notifications are working. I got one for this thread.
Make sure your notifications are enabled and the emails are not hitting a junk mail filter. Sometimes there are multiple. For example, I use Gmail but read my email in Outlook. Outlook has a junk folder, but so does Gmail. I have to check the spam folder while using Gmail webmail.
