Good evening MAAST!

I hope everyones week is going well, I just wanted to post up the flier for our February board meeting as well as our monthly meeting on the 15th of February at Chesters Hamburgers! If you plan on attending, please RSVP below along with how many will be with you, as we are working on possible food arrangements as well as door prizes if we get a good turnout. I hope to see everyone there!

All, I'm so sorry but this meeting is moving locations and possibly dates as Bass Pro just called and informed us their conference room will no longer be available during that time. Please bear with us as we find another location. As soon as the BOD works out the details they will be posted here!

Happy Valentines Day everyone.
I would like to remind all of our Charter Members that you have the right to attend and observe our Board of Director meetings. We are holding one Sunday from 12-1:30ish. We highly encourage any and all concerned Charter Members to attend the meeting. Come on out and see what this years BOD is all about!

I wanted to add that in the spirit of of the mission of MAAST, encourage the growth of the hobby in South Texas, we are going to be giving out frags from various members ranging from Zoas, LPS, and SPS to members of the group:

Order in which the selection process will occur is as follows:
Web Members that charter up at the meeting get their choice of any (2) frags to choose from First come, first Serve basis only
Charter Members get their choice of any (1) frags to choose from Order will be decided at the meeting
Any remaining frags will be available for web members to choose any (1) frag for themselves Order will be decided at the meeting

If you are just starting out and are looking for something to start out your reef or a seasoned vet; come out and check out the meeting to hear about our two presentations focused on educating on two topics around reef keeping, what we have in store for the year, as well as take part in getting a frag!!!

I want to say thank you to everyone who was able to make time in their day to come out and spend a couple of hours with us. We had a very fruitful BOD meeting followed by a great lunch and educational meeting. I hope to see you all again at our frag swap next month.
