There's an odd coat/ slime on my clown. I won't be able to take pics, but its white. He's fine now, but what should I look out for?

I'm going to do some reading now so I won't be on so if you have any suggestions, please call. No txt.

Not sure it will help, but I have a 5g bucket with LR, clean saltwater, an air bubbler, heater, and some stuff called Furan-2. Ill let him sit for 24 hours, add more furan, let that sit for 24 hours the do a water change and then repeate the process.

I had this way back when I got my first clowns. I used formalin.

I couldn't find any formalin so I got that furan stuff. They both start with F... I should be alright.
