Hi all, I have a 29 BioCube and looks like two of my fish have Ich. What is the best treatment anyone has found to help this without killing my corals. I have SPS and LPS in the tank

Thanks

Check out the sticky at the top of the emergency forum. Lots of good info. My advice is to keep the fish eating, several small meals a day.

Uv sterilizers help a lot. Just make sure it gets the right amount of contact time.

You are going to have to find out what caused the stress that brought on the Ich? Did you just add a fish? Did you QT before? If it gets worse you may have to remove the two to a QT tank with copper, but make sure the fish can handle copper, some fish do not do well with it.

Frequent (daily) small water changes to keep water quality as high as possible, frequent small feedings, raise the temp to 84-86 (86F is best but raise it slowly and keep an eye on your corals, they might not like it that warm especially the sps), uv sterilizer if you have one.

If that doesn't work you'll have to treat in a qt tank. Don't let it get so bad that the fish can't handle the stress of treatment.
