Another danger lurking in my tank. Scorpions!

Found this in the bottom of my sump. I was overrun with them in my house.

They are pretty hardy also, so that one must have been in there a while before drowning. I saw one fall in and sink to the bottom of my parent's pool, in the deep end. Hit the bottom and crawled back up the side of the concrete, until it got to the tile boarder near the top. It then hung there for a couple more minutes before actually drowning. It was crazy, it had probably been underwater a good 4-5 minutes before it drowned. Crazy lung capacity.

Almost felt bad for just watching it drown. Almost. Then I remembered stepping on one of his cousins in the shower one time, who stung me right on the bottom of my foot. Not a good way to wake up.

I was thinking scorpionfish until the picture appeared. lol We got a few last year as they finished building around us, now we rarely see them.
