Is there a general rule for the order of placement of reactors and skimmer in a sump?
Currently I have my skimmer in the first chamber with a kalk reactor and a GFO reactor dumping into that same chamber. The water being fed into the GFO reactor is being pulled from the overflows "dump" chamber so the water going into the GFO reactor is coming directly from the overflow dump chamber.

I just want to make sure the skimmer isn't pulling any nutrients from the two reactors being that they are dumping in the same chamber as the skimmer.

Good thread. I have Kalk dumping into my return chamber to make sure Kalk doesn't build up in my skimmer and affect its performance. I have phosban reactor return dumping at my skimmer intake. My skimmer is in my middle chamber. I made my first compartment to small for a skimmer (rookie mistake) so I use that chamber for a macro growout.

Well see I put the kalk reactor dumping into my skimmer chamber so it wouldn't build up in my return pump. But I can definitely see how my skimmer would be sucking up some of the kalk mixture and geting clogged or robbing its effects.
