I have an 8-10" tan with light green polyped toadstool which I have had for about 13 months that has out grown the spot I have for it in my tank. It is now being kept closed by a wall hammer that it has grown too near to. In trade I would like a few heads of euphillia, or multi branch sps, or a nice mini colony of zoas/ palys. All of course pending I don't already have what you may have to offer. I would like to get this guy moved out this weekend so hit me up if you're interested. PM or text at 830.581.8829 I will be happy to meet up half way between your house and mine also. :)

Dean is this the one you got from me? If so maybe I have some zoos you may like.

Its the exact same type Zach but larger. Not the mint green but the tan with "fuzzy" polyps. I gave my Dad the one I bought from you so that Spot would still have his bed. :)
Text me the type of zoas you would like to trade to make sure I don't have them already. I'm sure we can work it out.

You can also slice the top off. It will regrow smaller... Until it grows into the original size later, six to right months.

The top can be cut into smaller pieces, use a very loose rubber band to to hold the pieces gently to a piece of rubble. About two weeks later they will have adhered to the rubble and you will have 10-20 little frags for trade.

Thanks for the suggestion Allan. I plan to add about 10 more pounds of live rock and more sps realestate when it is gone though.

Understood.

I had one that I had to trim frequently to keep it from dropping frags. Then I kept one of the frags, later I had two, and I had to trim them frequently. By the time I had to tear down I had three big ones that I would frag off cycle. A lot of work.

If it's not fragged, it will develop little holes, and those holes will reach out to the outer rim and a pice will drop. When it starts doing that it's not very attractive.

I think yours is one of those. There are others that continue to grow until they are huge.

This one has actually never dropped a frag but does have a small hole near the rim. I guess its getting ready to drop one. Good eye Allan! I have another toadstool that's a mint green color with smooth polyps (not fuzzy tipped like this one) that is close to a foot across and has not dropped any frags yet.

Yeah, I can only speak to the fuzzy one. That's the one that I had, looks like the kind you have there. Paul has one that hasn't dropped any, but the thing is monstrous. Man... Missing the hobby.
