I've got an outbreak of hair algae. Have read about Sea Hares and/or Lawnmower blennies.

Thoughts?

Where could I get some?

Thanks

My lawnmower blenny keeps my tank clean. I had him in my 90 gallon before I sold it and he's now in my 29 gallon biocube.

I would be very careful with sea hares...they are PIGS! I put one in my 210 to get rid of all the hair algae that had grown before I got my nutrients under control. It devoured it in less than 2 weeks. Then I started to see signs that he wasn't doing well...probably starving...and took him back to the Lfs I purchased him from and gave him back.
if they die in your tank, they can kill everything!
first step in fighting it though...figure out where the excess nutrients are coming from. Over feeding is probably the most common cause.

Recently dealt with this scrubbing with toothbrush and water changes did it for me.
