Canister filter

I was wondering what the best canister filter is. It's not for a reef but for my freshwater tank. Any input would be great.

What are your price points and what kind of stock do you want to have?

Not sure on price point. Just want to know what's the best so I can decide if I should by it. I can think about prices later. As for stock it's going to be a planted 20 gallon tall with small shoaling fish like tetras and freshwater inverts like different kinds of shrimp.

I like the fluval g series but those are well over a hundred easily.

I've always been partial to the Renas. I still have an xp2 xp3 and xp4, just in case.
