Combining Media?

Just checking to see if anyone has ever combined GFO W Carbon in a media reactor?

I have done it . Thou i am not a big fan of Gfo

gfo works best when tumbled, but carbon breaks up into fine powder when tumbled which is bad for fish and coral. so unless you can keep carbon compacted down and gfo tumbling i wouldn't do it.

Just checking to see if anyone has ever combined GFO W Carbon in a media reactor?
I run phosgaurd and carbon in mine. I use filter sponges to separate them and have carbon on top so it can be replaced more often. Works pretty good.
