ive had mine in brackish ( 1.008 to 1.010 ) for a little over a month now. Got him from darbys in NB and was already in brackish. In the last month he has been out and about swimming and following me around my room. well the past week he won't leave the bottom and has lost some color ( looks like a sleeping fish all of the time, grayish ) and is very skidish when i walk by or get to close to the tank he freaks out. He is still eating and is about the only time he's not hiding. Just curious if this is normal or if something is wrong.

My puffer did that for a lil while there is a forum created just for these puffers I can't remember the exact name of it but it's very helpful cause they inform you of all the signs of possible illness and over feeding. If his belly is suppose to be a cream color and it's grayish he may need to be QT'ed and medicated as these puffers are wild caught specimens and do come with parasites and worms
