I mentioned this at the meeting about using PVC to help setup your rockscape. Here is the link to the article:

http://www.reefsmagazine.com/forum/reefs-magazine/119589-aesthetics-aquascaping-iii.html

Mainly, my purposes behind using this method was to have as little rock touching the sand as possible to avoid obstacles for detritus to accumulate and add nutrients into my tank. I was trying to follow this thread on RC:

Neat idea. I'm also curious how the flower pot corals do for y'all. I've never had much luck with them.

We were talking at the meeting on Sunday about stray voltage and current in our tanks. So I thought I would just post mine here for my 65g office tank.
250w Metal Halide DE Pendant with glass lens - Volts 0
Rio Return Pump Volts 8
MJ 900 Skimmer Pump Volts 3
Stunner Strips 6 watts x 2 Volts 2
Hydor Koralia Nano Volts 32
Total Milli Amps .01ma

I choose to run a grounding probe and with it voltage 0
I was shocked at the voltage for the nano koralia, I will be bringing another power head to see what it does. Also the 12 watts of stunner strip leds placed 8” above the tank and having a glass top on this tank.

Alton, sounds like a nice discussion presentation for the dec mtg. I for one would love to see what kind of stray voltage we get from the various equipment we use. Perhaps some of us can bring in equipment and we test it out on a 10 gallon setup
