ive posted the 2nd pic before, but no one was able to determine what it is. thing is, its growing and spreading. im not sure how aiptasia start off, but im hoping this isnt how...

The first one looks like a pineapple sponge & the second is some type of calcerous algae

+1 on the first pic being a sponge. I have a lot of them in my tank. As for the second pic. Could be a sponge as well. I do have several redish looking sponges in my tank also. If you touch it is it soft like a sponge? If so then it probably is. I have red, yellow, white sponges and some dark blue almost black color branching ones.
