I started using it 2 weeks ago. I don't have an algae problem. I got it to help clean the rocks a little to make them look more clean if that makes since. Also wanted to try it for the benifit it's supposed to have on the corals and fish. At this time I have not seen much of a difference but I'll continue to use it until I'm out. Hope it works well for you. Please keep us updated with results.

I am 5 weeks in and man my aquarium looks awesome. I have some green hair algae that was there when I started it and I can honestly say it is getting smaller. But most importantly my water is really clear and I clean my glass every 8-9 days.
