Just looking for help on where to set light Intensity and if you have them where do you have them set and how it your growth? Was told to hang 12" off the water.

What size tank? Dimensions? How many hydras?

12" is too high imo

Yeah, I had mine about 6" above the tank. For settings, I kept them around 40% on whites, 15% red and green, 90% blues and 95% uv.

Tank is a 90 Long it's 4 1/2'L by 21"W and 19" H and I have 2 hydras

Like I said, acclimation mode is a must if switching over from halides or t5's, also remember that there are tons of things that can influence coral growth so for me personally, i'd reccomend a par meter to find a intenisty you want, then adjust your settings of color accordingly to match that, and be at a color you like!

So I set my lights up and I c where it shows ramp time does that mean that at 4:00 o'clock it will be at its highest on the lights?

First set what time you want each channel/color to start and pick a ramp time(time it will take to get to that point)

Do that for each color...

Then select a time for them to ramp down...

So if you select 6am with a 4 hour ramp time, the channel will peak at 10am, then select 2 pm with a ramp time of 4hours.. That channel will be off at 6 pm....

Ok I c what you mean now I must set each channel to a set time then go from their ok, man that is a lot of work o well I have nothing but time

Easy mode does all that for you.

Easy mode works but i like having individual control of each color....

A little red at sunrise, longer hours of just the actinic look...

Idk, i never used it.... I was coming from ai sols, so no need for acclimating.

Yea I have it on easy but don't like the color very much and did not like the sunrise at 5:45 this Morning

lol, I used easy for a good while but hated how long the white leds were on for.
