Well here goes nothing! I will be starting a new build within the next few weeks. It will be a very large tank so I am very excited to create the tank of my dreams.

The tank will be a Deep Sea Aquatics 225 72 x 27 x 27
It will have a Coastal Vintage Stand and Canopy
The sump will be a 48" Bio Sump from My Reef Creations
For the skimmer I have a Reef Octopus Diablo DC200 Skimmer
Lighting will be provided by two 16k Maxspect Razors and 4 T5 HO 48 " retrofit fixtures.
The Return pump will be a Sicce HF 10.0 and will power the Reef Octopus Bio Pellet Reactor BR-140
I will also run reactors for Carbon and GFO
I will have two Vortech MP40 and a Hydor 700 gph for the middle of the tank to keep it stirring up.

I will get pictures up and posted as soon as the tank is delivered and we start getting it set up.

Awesome! I love new tank builds. This will be an awesome one. I think I enjoy the build as much as the husbandry of the hobby. :)

Go big or go home....LED and T5 are going to be awesome. Would it be enough room for 3 fixtures under the canopy? Why you're going with 48" but not 60" or 72" T5 for better coverage?

Its a good daylight bulb..

Can i ask, why are you supplementing the razors? I supplement my vegas because they lack the deeper end of the spectrum on the graph and figured why not... I love it though.

The razors are amazing however I have two of the two puck fixtures. I would need a third fixture to cover the demensions of my tank. Also oranges and reds pop much better under t5 in my comparison to my friends tank.

Some big changes to the lighting in the tank. After realizing the razors would not work very well in a rolling top canopy like mine i decided to go with kessil a360we. I could not be HAPPIER! amazing shimmer color is on par with the razor and the size and mounting is a much better solution for my needs. looks great in the tank! Ill get some pictures posted very soon.

Here's my system... 215 gallon DSA Brick system... Lighting was a problem so I added the 5' T5 Retro fit kit about a couple of months ago to my AI Vegas and my spa couldn't be happier...:)2481724818
