Sweeping Powerhead

Has anyone ever used sweeping powerheads and if so what was your experience? I was watching a video on youtube about lighting and water flow and the guy was talking about the benefits of sweeping powerheads being that they dont create dead spots and blow off stuff from settling on coral. I'll attach the video if anyone is curious. Its not until about 30 minutes in that he talks about it.

I use a small cheapo that was in my nano before I put it in my ato to keep the kalk stirred. The sweeping head needs to be frequently cleaned because it stops swinging with minimal buildup of coraline or now kalk. But again it is a cheapo.
