I've had the chalice for 3 days and have noticed these two white lines pop up on the side. They look like they are outside of the flesh but I'm not too sure. Anyone seen this before ?
Last picture is what I'm talking about. The other two was day 1 and 2.

Have you attempted to brush it off or see if it is attached? It might be some form of a critter.

That might be what I will try when I get home. My fiancé was saying the same. I was trying now to touch it and stress it lol.

It appears to possibly be one if the tube building snails. I can't ever remember the proper name of them. If it is off the flesh of the chalice then I wouldn't freak too much about it.

Yea it's running right along the side. It started as one, then one and a smaller one, now 2 of the same size. The area around the tubes doesn't seem to he stressed but I'll def see if I can knock it off when I get home. Maybe use tweezers and try and push it from the side ? I don't want to hurt the chalice lol.

Ok they aren't attached to the chalice. They are little soft tubes coming up from the plug/glue.

I was able to removed them. Did tap the chalice a few times. I'll leave it alone now to recover. U can see the few white spots where the tweezers hit :/

If they are that, can I assume I'll be breaking them off again soon? Should I dip the drag?

Dont dip the drag.... That could be hazardous ;)
Lol jk
You can, wont hurt... But like i said earlier, chalices are finicky sometimes... If it is what i think it is, they cause no harm....

Lmao!
Thanks, I'll leave it alone for now. I wanna start seeing some growth before I touch it again. Was reading they like being at an angle. Might try that and see what happens.

I had a mummy eye frag that wasted away. :( My hurricane flourishes and my watermelon is doing well so I don't know why, but its gone. Anyway, nice frag, hope it does well for you.

Absolutely my favorite chalice that I've owned. It killed me to frag up mine.

The mummy eye ? I'll be posting pics as it grows. Was never fond of the chalice but my fiancé wanted the piece and I've grown fond of it lol.

Spell check always made it cornbread. I left it as is and never paid much attention to it.

I just google search and everyone uses both spellings lol. Guess it isn't that big of a deal. Thanks again!
