Single polyp disappearing

How to keep zoa single polyp from disappearing? Lol....I had lost some high end single zoa polyp and see if any of you guys out there having a way to prevent it .

I will dip mine in lugols if it won't open. I have some trouble with some of the Hawaiian morphs. My rdpe grow like weeds but others close up from time to time. My newly acquired blood shots are doing good along with my salted agave. But like I said I dip them if they start looking bad. My dip before they go into the tank is lugols, coral rx and revive. But mainly lugols if they don't open. Hope that helps.
